When you’ve given your time and talents to a group or organization that appears to function in a capacity totally opposite of what your input has to offer…it’s time to move on. Make sure that you not only are a positive influence but also have the best interest of said organization in mind. When it appears that others don’t hold the best interest in mind…move on. When all you do is think about how you’re intending to quit but never really get around to doing so, partly because “once a quitter, always a quitter”, it’s really time to …move on. Realize this: the current group or organization that you are sweating and stressing over at one time functioned completely fine without you. They made it before you and they will make it without you. It’s time to let go and leave all the negativity behind. I mean do you really want to spend countless hours preparing for and attending meetings when your voice is no longer heard? It’s time to move on.
